§ 2-65. Adjustment by municipalities.

  • When the boundaries of the corporate limits of municipalities of the county are contiguous along or upon a public roadway, and such roadway is widened, straightened or otherwise altered, the respective governing bodies of such municipalities may adjust such boundaries by contract between themselves so as to avoid confusion and uncertainty about the location of such contiguous boundary.
