§ 8-801. Purpose.

This article is established to provide for the regulation and permitting of short-term residential properties as defined herein, in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public and to promote the public interest by regulating the areas and methods of operation. To affect this purpose, the county has determined that such short-term rental units within the unincorporated parts of the county must be issued a permit pursuant to the requirements of this article.
