§ 4-66. Frequency; certificate or tag subject to inspection.

  • Any person who owns or keeps a dog or cat three months old or older shall cause the dog or cat to be vaccinated against rabies annually if killed virus tissue type vaccine has been used, or each third year if live virus, chicken embryo adapted type vaccine has been used. The rabies certificate or tag shall be kept by the person who owns, keeps or harbors the dog or cat at all times, subject to the inspection of the proper law enforcement officers.
