§ 4-1. Title; authority; purpose.

This article shall be referred to as the Shelby County Animal Control Ordinance and is enacted under the home rule powers of the board of county commissioners to regulate animals and animal owners and keepers in the interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the county.
