§ 42-103. General requirements for wells.

  • (a)

    Any individual, firm, corporation, or owner of a quasi-public or private water supply shall make an application for the installation of any and all types of wells in the county. An application may be obtained at the health department. If an application is approved, such application shall be in force and in effect for 90 days from the date of its issuance. If work has not commenced within 90 days of issuance, the application shall be revoked.

    (b)

    All water wells in the county shall be required to have a negative bacteriological sample obtained prior to putting the well into service.
