§ 32-282. Annual report; inspection of records; audits.

  • The Memphis and Shelby County Port Commission shall, on or before January 30th of each year, and at such other times as may be requested by the council of the City of Memphis and the board of county commissioners, file with the mayor and council of the City of Memphis and the board of county commissioners a report in writing of its activities of the previous year, together with an accurate account of all its receipts and expenditures. The mayor and council of the City of Memphis and the board of county commissioners shall have the right, at all times, to inspect all books, papers and accounts of the commission and shall have the right to audit, or cause to be audited, the books of the commission at such times as they may elect.
