§ 32-154. Transition provisions.

After the establishment of district no. II, no assessment shall be made as to district no. I except assessments to pay for improvements as provided in section 12-32-5 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Memphis. Upon the adoption of the commission of rules and regulations pursuant to section 12-44-7(E) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Memphis, chapter 12-36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Memphis is hereby repealed. Upon the adoption by the commission of rules and regulations pursuant to section 12-44-7(G) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Memphis, chapter 12-48 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Memphis is hereby repealed. The references to central business improvement district in sections 12-40-1 through 12-40-6 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Memphis shall refer to district no. I.
