§ 30-135. Expenses; employees; conduct of farm; duties of manager of farm.

  • (a)

    The county mayor may incur such expenses as may be necessary to the carrying into effect of the agreement of the county mayor and the state experiment station, as authorized in section 30-134.

    (b)

    The county mayor may employ such labor and may purchase such material and make such improvements on the grounds as may be necessary for the proper conduct of the demonstration farm. It shall be the duty of the manager or superintendent of the demonstration farm, or any suitable person designated by the mayor, to superintend the experiments, carry out the suggestions and directions of the state experiment station, keep such record of all operations and results as may be required by the state experiment station, and to report the same promptly to the director of the experiment station on blanks to be provided for by the state experiment station, and to perform such other duties as may be necessary for carrying this article fully into effect.
