§ 2-258. Court docket and inventory control.

The clerk of the general sessions court shall be responsible for preparing the court docket for the purpose of assigning cases to the general sessions court for the orderly disposition of all cases of ordinance violations. The clerk shall establish and maintain inventory control of every charging instrument printed so that a true and accurate record of the status of such charging instrument shall be made from date of receipt until final disposition either by payment or court action.
