§ 2-215. Requests for proposals initiated by county commissioners.

  • (a)

    Each request for proposal (RFP) initiated by a county commissioner or commissioners shall be initiated by presentation of a resolution to the board of county commissioners. The resolution shall include a brief description of the products and/or services sought. A complete summary shall be attached to the resolution detailing the products and/or services to be outlined in the request for proposal (RFP) and fully explaining the contract to be awarded.

    (b)

    Any resolution adopted under the provisions of this section shall require majority approval by the board of county commissioners, the board having authority to authorize the solicitation of proposals for products and/or services.
