§ 2-43. Reapportionment of districts.

  • The membership of the board of county commissioners shall consist of 13 commissioners with the county being divided into five districts as set forth in the following subsections. The citizens in districts one, two, three and four shall elect three commissioners, who shall be elected from numbered positions, and the citizens of district five shall elect one commissioner.

    (1)

    District one shall be composed of the areas encompassed by the following wards and precincts of the City of Memphis and County of Shelby: As per exhibit A, a copy of which is attached to Ordinance No. 258 and specifically incorporated herein by reference.

    (2)

    District two shall be composed of the areas encompassed by the following wards and precincts of the City of Memphis and County of Shelby: As per exhibit A, a copy of which is attached to Ordinance No. 258 and specifically incorporated herein by reference.

    (3)

    District three shall be composed of the areas encompassed by the following wards and precincts of the City of Memphis and County of Shelby: As per exhibit A, a copy of which is attached to Ordinance No. 258 and specifically incorporated herein by reference.

    (4)

    District four shall be composed of the areas encompassed by the following wards and precincts of the City of Memphis and County of Shelby: As per exhibit A, a copy of which is attached to Ordinance No. 258 and specifically incorporated herein by reference.

    (5)

    District five shall be composed of the areas encompassed by the following wards and precincts of the City of Memphis and County of Shelby: As per exhibit A, a copy of which is attached to Ordinance No. 258 and specifically incorporated herein by reference.
