§ 24-193. Storage of property on public streets and right-of-way unlawful.

  • (a)

    The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this section, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this subsection, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Storage means the placing of any property in a public street, highway, or right-of-way in such a manner as to preclude the use of such street, highway, or right-of-way by the general public or the normal flow of vehicular or pedestrian traffic.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to use a public street, highway, or public right-of-way along said street or highway, for the purpose of storing any item, except where otherwise lawfully provided.
