§ 24-15. Riding on or operating a vehicle while persons are riding on portion of vehicle not intended for passengers.

  • (a)

    No person shall ride on any vehicle upon any portion thereof not designed or intended for use of passengers except for:

    (1)

    A nonminor employee engaged in the necessary discharge of a duty; or

    (2)

    A nonminor person riding within a truck body in a space intended for merchandise.

    (b)

    No person driving any vehicle shall knowingly transport on such vehicle any person who is in violation of subsection (a) of this section.
