§ 10-704. Compensation.

  • (a)

    The assistant district attorney general and criminal investigator appointed under this article shall each receive as salary from the state such sums of money per annum as are provided by T.C.A. § 8-7-201, payable in equal monthly installments out of the state treasury; and in addition to such salary from the state, the assistant district attorney general shall be paid the sum of $2,200.00, and the criminal investigator the sum of $3,200.00, per annum, by the county, such county salaries to be paid in equal semimonthly installments by the county.

    (b)

    The one secretary and one file clerk appointed under this article shall each receive as salary from the state the sum of $3,600.00 per annum, payable in equal monthly installments out of the state treasury; and in addition to such salary from the state, the one secretary shall be paid the sum of $1,800.00, and the one file clerk the sum of $1,200.00, per annum, by the county, such county salaries to be paid in equal semimonthly installments by the county.
