§ 10-701. Effect on other laws.

Nothing in this article shall be construed to repeal or be in conflict with the provisions of any act creating the positions set out in section 10-670, except insofar as the provisions of this article pertain to the amounts of additional salaries and compensation to be paid by the county. Nothing in this article shall be construed to limit the creation of positions in addition to those set out in section 10-670 when deemed necessary and essential, and the payment of additional salaries and compensation as may be provided by any act creating such additional positions.
